Summer studies I

This piece is 9×11.25” (frame included in measurement)

Acrylic on paper, mat and frame. It can sit great on a shelf, or comes with hardware to hang for a more formal art display.

incorporating the painting with stripes onto reclaimed frames has really been a little signature to my work and style.

I have a sweet spot for these captains.

Summer Studies was born in the in-between moments of a full, busy season—those fleeting pockets of time where inspiration still managed to shine through. Fueled by the simple joy of summer, this series is a reflection of spontaneity, warmth, and the freedom to create without rules.

These pieces vary in size, medium, and subject. Some are playful experiments, others blend familiar styles with new ideas. I’m letting inspiration lead the way, and as I release these mini-collections over the coming months, you’ll see that each one captures a different thread of the season.

I also care deeply about sustainability, and many of the materials I use—especially frames—have lived previous lives. You might notice small imperfections here and there, but nothing that takes away from the piece—if anything, it adds to its story and charm.

Thank you for being here. I’m so excited to share these evolving studies with you.
